Very often I’m asked about the wheels on Gem, and I must confess pretty quickly that they’re a good choice of the previous owner, not mine. They’re remarked on quite frequently, and I do like them.

These are 13″ Pepperpots made by John Brown Wheels available here for £200 per set plus tyres. They’re available from factory in black or white gloss finishes, and you need the 4″ PCD with zero offset.

They just clear the track rod end (although be sure to fit the bleeding thing the right way round or they won’t fit at all!) and they’re held on with the standard MG rostyle nuts. Personally I think I’d like some 10mm spacers for the rear wheels.
Tyres are 165 65/R13 and I’m currently running Rovelo tyres which are about £30 per corner. However Goodyears are available for an extra £40 per set.

I made the MG centres from the supplied JBW ones, which have a subtle carbon fibre effect! (If you want a set of these email littlebluemg@gmail.com)

Impressive, well done. Modifications made to Bridget, aka the other woman, include spitfire gearbox with O/D, foamed bumpers, front lowered by 1″. Oil cooler with thermostat, and an extra electric fan.
About to fit a K&N air box and filter.
Lusting after a 4-2-1 Maniflow manifold.
Your wheels are terrific, a nice change from Minilite that I have.
Please keep the posts coming. How many stop light switches have you got through?
About to fit No. 3,but will add a relay this time.
Cheers
